"My hand holds the pen, and it seems the pen needs to engage with the paper and in a motion of circular scribbles the blank space is transformed. I enter a trancelike state, leaving present reality, engaging with familiar past lifetimes. I need the connection to then, and I bring that previous time back to the present."
